Suppose that you considered discipleship in the same way Jesus discipled. The Lord, while He was on the earth, concentrated His ministry on only a few disciples with the goal of training them in depth. He trained them so thoroughly that they were able to repeat His example in reaching others. Now, suppose that you were privileged to lead someone to the Lord, and then, you concentrated primarily on discipling just that one person. And suppose you spent an entire year discipling this new believer, so that by the end of the year, he was able, not only to lead another to the Lord, but was able to disciple the new convert in the same way he was discipled.

Maybe the Lord is leading you to disciple someone right now. As you spend quite time with the Lord, ask Him if there is someone that could use your guidance and knowledge. Ask the Lord to give you an opportunity to share the Love of Jesus with someone. You never know who the Lord is going to bring you. Take the time to hear the Lord and his directions for your life.

The Lord is so amazing!!! I received an email for a girl I have not seen in 13 years. She asked me if I would give her some scripture to read regarding FAITH. This was such a blessing to me. I am so happy that the Lord would have someone ask me to do this. This is a wonderful example of how you never know; when you are going to be called on, to share the Love of Jesus Christ and his word!! May the Lord receive the glory he so deserves!

For some reason I have been thinking about Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

WOW… that is heavy stuff right there. I just hope and pray that I stay focused on Jesus and keeping him as the king of kings. It is somewhat frightening that there are people who claim to be Christians walking around that may never see heaven. This set of scripture is so critical to me because I don’t want to be one of the people God looks and says “I never knew you”

Everything we do must always be for His glory. We must strive to please the Lord. I have a desire to make things about me… that is because I have, what is called FLESH. Please pray for me. I want to focus of Jesus and my hope is that he will say a different set of scripture to me that says this Matthew 25:21"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'

I pray that I am good and faithful with the small things. Things to think about…

What a weekend!! I feel like I have been running a 100 mph for some reason. Well today was awesome because our church had a pancake breakfast at our NEW BUILDING!!!! We are so excited to see all the wonderful things the Lord is going to do in this new place. We are blessed to receive such a wonderful place to worship the Lord. I am looking forward to starting my guitar lessons with Luke. I can’t wait to learn this new song called “East to West”. The Lord is so good to us and I am so thankful, for all he does in spite of my lack of faith at times.

I had a wonderful conversation today. I was at a job site and I began to talk with the tile contractor about the material he was installing. He asked me what I thought of it and I responded to him quickly, with a yes!!! I told him that I loved it. We continued the conversation and as we did, I asked him the name of the material he was installing. The name of it was “Jerusalem Gold” My first thought was the bus ride Jennifer and I took from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. It was amazing!! I remember looking at the city and seeing this Jerusalem gold color everywhere. I remember looking at this beautiful city for the first time and feeling so blessed to be there. In the conversation with the installer, I found out that he was a Christian!! We talk for awhile about our love for the Lord. We also talked about the Jewish people. We talked about them being the chosen people of God and how special the Jews are to the Lord. The man I was speaking t, voiced his strong desire to visit the holy land. I told him that if there is any way for him to go there that he should do it ASAP. I love Israel and I pray that I will be able to visit the holy land with my family one day. Jennifer and I are hoping to at least visit the land with Noah (our 10 year old) for his 8th grade graduation… 3 years from now!!!

I have been reading the book of Ecclesiastes and it is really cool!! It is amazing to read Solomon's words and to see how he viewed life. After reading the book, I think the best quote from Solomon was Chapter 1:18 For in much wisdom is much grief, and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow. Wow... that is deep. LOL, HA I am glad we have the New Testament, other wise I would just stop with what I know right now and call it good.
